news has been constantly reporting abt the latest news update of the various countries affected.. tis natural disaster had brought massive destruction to several countries.. tis tsunami swept away lotsa lives.. innocent lives taken away.. it shows no mercy.. ppl who survived were left homeless and were all so helpless.. losing their loved ones and looking at their devastated homeland nothing could be done.. watched the news jus now.. 2 little kids survived thro the disaster.. a taiwanese girl and an australian boy.. the mother forgo tis australian boy as she's unable to carry her 2 kids at tt moment.. she chose to forgo tis elder boy of hers.. guess at tt moment is really a difficult decision for her.. thank god tt tis elder boy of hers survived!
the aftermath is so much terrible.. many were left starving.. shortage of clean drinking water.. ppl were desperate for water thus they would jus drink the contaminated water and if an epidemic breaks out it will be a big problem for the ppl to face.. yar s'pore PUB gonna send a portable desalination plant over.. thank god there's tis creation of the portable desalination thingy.. and ppl over there will be able to get clean drinking water.. or else many problems like health crisis will start to arise before anything can be done..
guess life is jus so vulnerable.. yar the public had started donations voluntarily ehh.. many countries oso came forward to aid for the tsunami victims ehh.. it will be a long process for the people to get back on their feet.. it take years to build a place but a second for a place to get destroyed.. natural disaster is unavoidable and at times unpredictable.. but live losts can be prevented.. a day more left for 2004.. hope a new year will be a new beginning and a new hope for the people..
