Its the last day of 2008 and here goes the updates!!

lotsa thanks to charmain that i experienced wat's abt at the flea market.. its my first time doing that!

.4th Oct 2008. Brother's Big Day. (1st day)

the most important day of the year for my brother and family! its brother's wedding! couldnt sleep on the eve of his wedding.. yea its funny as im not the bride and i just cant get to sleep. the weather was good on that day and everyone's spirit was real high! just wanna share that my brother's helpers (his xiong di) were real good.. without their help i doubt my brother can tahan! haha. of course, needless to say my da sao's sisters were very helpful and nice. some photos to share..

i wasnt arranged to be seated at the VIP table with my parents.. i had to be seated at the far end of the banquet hall.. fortunately i had the company of my cousin CL, otherwise i will be facing my other male cousins and uncles alone.

.5th Oct 2008. (2nd day)
da sao's brother and i were the emcees of the banquet for the 2nd day.. and i cannot forget tt he kept saying that its nothing, dont hafta be scared. okay i was super nervous cos i have to converse in chinese.. those very traditional chinese language that we seldom used in our daily life. going up on stage or any presentation isnt my forte.. im just not up to it. a small scale presentation in sch im already experiencing stage fright.. needless to say for this. i was already dead beat after the 1st night and woke up real early the next day and then started browsing thro the script many many times.

J and i went thro the rehearsal lotsa times and i thought the nervousness in me had gone. who knows when i saw the guests started streaming in and i know its coming back. anyway thanks to J that he was very calm thro out and it did help to lighten the tension in me. he did the emcee thingy very well.

oh yar on the 2nd day i got to sit at the VIP table.. and the deco was really beautiful! at the vip table we were individually served and i personally feel that the food was better on the 2nd day!
